This action is permanent. Deleting your account will remove all your reading progress, badges, XP, quiz history, and personal data. This cannot be undone.
Delete from Within the App
The quickest way to delete your account is directly within the BookFlik app:
Open BookFlik
Launch the app and make sure you are logged in to the account you want to delete.
Go to Profile
Tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.
Open Settings
Tap the settings (⚙️) icon in the top right of the Profile screen.
Select Delete Account
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Confirm when prompted.
Request Deletion by Email
If you are unable to access the app, or if you are a parent requesting deletion of a child's account, you can request deletion by email.
Send an email to privacy@bookflik.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include:
- The email address associated with the account
- Your relationship to the account (account holder or parent/guardian)
- Any additional details to help us locate the account
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:
Note: Anonymised, aggregated data (e.g. total quiz attempts across the platform) may be retained for service improvement purposes. This data cannot be linked back to you.
Subscription Cancellation
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription separately through the App Store or Google Play before requesting account deletion to avoid further charges.
- iPhone/iPad: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → BookFlik → Cancel
- Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → BookFlik → Cancel
