How many quizzes can I take for free? ▾
The free tier includes 3 quiz attempts per month. Upgrade to Premium (£4.99/month) for unlimited quizzes.
My child forgot their password — how do I reset it? ▾
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password" and enter the email address used to create the account. A reset link will be sent to that email address.
How do I cancel my subscription? ▾
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play. On iPhone/iPad: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → BookFlik → Cancel. On Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → BookFlik → Cancel.
Can I use BookFlik at my school? ▾
Yes — BookFlik offers school and MAT licensing with per-pupil pricing, teacher dashboards, and class progress reports. Contact us at schools@bookflik.com for a demo.
How are quiz questions generated? ▾
Quiz questions are generated using the Google Gemini AI based on book summaries and metadata. Questions do not reproduce copyrighted text from books. If you notice an inaccurate question, please report it to us at support@bookflik.com.
How do badges and XP work? ▾
Children earn XP and coins by passing quizzes, achieving perfect scores, and maintaining reading streaks. XP contributes to their reader rank. Badges are awarded for reaching milestones such as completing books, passing quizzes, and login streaks.
Is my child's data safe? ▾
Yes. We take children's privacy very seriously. We never sell data, never show adverts, and comply with UK GDPR and the Children's Code. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account? ▾
You can request account deletion through our data deletion page or by emailing support@bookflik.com. All personal data will be deleted within 30 days.
The app is not working — what should I do? ▾
First try closing and reopening the app, or restarting your device. If the issue persists, check your internet connection. If you still have problems, email us at support@bookflik.com with your device model and a description of the issue.
